Celebrate Spring. Organic Veggie Flower Salad by Gourmet Felted

Veggie Garden salad

Here is another one of my loves! I love to cook healthy food and sometimes I add a little fun to it. This is a yummy salad that I created with organic vegetables, chick peas,  and cheese shreds. The base is spinach, purple kale, pea sprouts, and sunflower shoots. I made roses from radishes and beets, pepper flowers. tomato flowers, and green onion flowers. Highlights are asparagus, jicama, baby carrots, black olives, chives and more.

We have had so many gray rainy days I just had to make something with colors. We had a family get together and  it was a hit! I love making food that helps make people healthier!
