  1. Well deserved!! Your creations are adorable, and so beautifully made. I was actually going to comment anyway just to say THANK YOU for your wonderful blog. I have been obsessing over needle felting for a while, and just finished reading your WHOLE BLOG from start to finish! You are so kind and lavish with your instructions, help, and encouragement for newbies. My first felting kit should arrive tomorrow and I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas!

    • Hi Amanda,
So glad that my blog was helpful and encouraging to you! I have been needle felting for 6 years and I love every minute of it! I hope that other people will try it as it is so much fun. I do remember how excited I was the first time that I tried needle felting. I couldn’t find roving so I unspun some wool yarn and used that! lol! I poked my fingers soooooo many times in the beginning! OUCH! What will you be felting?

  2. Hi ,
Can you tell me how to needle feld paw pads, with the littel toes?

    • Hi Simone,
Welcome to my blog! I just use tiny bits of wool and felt on each paw pad one by one. If you want to make toes, you can do them one by one making little balls and felting each one on one by one. I have also seen people use thread to divide the paw into toes. Of course you would make the toes first before felting the pads onto the toes.
Be very careful felting toes if you hold the leg in your fingers!! It is so easy to poke your fingers I would recommend felting the feet on a foam pad so your fingers aren’t so close to the work!
      I hope that helps!
      Happy Felting!

  3. I just drop you a line on esty, I just wanted to say the dust bunnies will be growing around here as I just found your site and I want to read all your blog info. As a beginner, your blog is going to be so helpful to me. Thanks for sharing. Sandy

    • Hi Sandy,
Welcome to my blog! Thank you so much for your kind words on my site! You made my day!
Please feel free to ask any questions anytime!
      Happy Felting!

  4. Can you copy a picture and felt a dog? I recently lost my therapy dog and I would love to have a felted dog that looks like him.
