  2. Whoa, Gerry! That is gorgeous!!!! Totally amazing!

  3. Thanks so much Lori! Have you made anything cute lately?

  4. Hello Gerry your Pom is really Gorgeous and Good Luck on your ebay auction

  5. Thanks so much Ginette. Blogs are a little slow on the weekends as everyone is out and about. Thanks so much for all your comments. What are you working on now?

  6. Hello Gerry I am presently making a black and white cat but experimenting by trying to combine 2 technique together needle felting and punchneedle so far so good and I can’t wait to see the end result , designing the pattern wasn’t easy but the good thing about it I can control how big I want it to be it’s going to be much smaller than Mylou. It took me over 40 hours to do Mylou but since I am new to needle felting I guess it is normal to take so much time .

  7. What is punch needle??
Don’t feel bad about taking 40 hours on your cat! That is about right as I take about 5 to 8 hours to make a 3 to 4 inch sculpture depending on whether its a long coat or not. So you were pretty quick to make a furry cat in that large size. Good job!!

  8. Hello Gerry Punchneedle is Japanese Embroidery also called Bunka or Punchneedle I do the brushing technique for my animals, it’s another kind of thread artform done with a special bunka thread. I use a wooden frame and stretch my fabric drum tight if you would like to see what it is you can go to the website Bunka with Flair it will give you a good idea what it is .

  9. Great felting job Lori! Congrats on your order!
