I was recently asked:
How do you do such tiny legs? I always have a problem doing small “tubes” or whatever. I can never get it the way I want, always poke myself, and also can’t get it to not be so fuzzy.

ANSWER:
I wrap the tinest wisp of wool around the wire in the armature and carefully felt it on while laying on a piece of foam. Less dangerous that way!
Then you have to trim off all the bits that go into the foam. That’s all there is to it! If you do need your legs to be a little thicker…it is MUCH easier to add a little more than to try for an hour to felt in a thick leg….Another solution…If your leags are already too thick, trim some of it right off with some scissors. They will be thinner that way! Felt it to smooth the anges left be cutting!
